Adult education class designed for participants to learn to start the 1925 Bessemer engine. Class runs from 1-4pm. This is a great gift for any gearhead, or engine enthusiast, or for anyone who loves history. This 3 hour class includes history and specifications of the engine, a thorough start up prep instruction, and of course getting to start the mighty Bessemer! A tour of the Burton Farmers Gin will also be conducted, and attendees will take home a copy of the start up manual, and history of the engine.
